I became involved with the Scout Movement when I met my wife Dianne who was at that time a Cub Scout Leader in Leicestershire.

I began to help out at camps in the early 70’s when my own children and Dianne went to the Cub Pack Camps. Later I helped out at other events and camps held by the group but did not attend the weekly meetings.

After a career as an Accountant in the UK we moved to Spain and I began to help out at the weekly meetings of Fuengirola Cubs and Beavers and took part in camps and other events run by the group. 5years ago I decided to become a Leader with the Group and experienced my first International Camp when I went with the group to Kandesteg Scout Camp in Switzerland. I now work mainly with the Beavers but also attend Group camps with the Cubs and older sections of the group as well as attending camps for the Beavers and Cubs.
